Dr Sammar Javed
Ambassador
Dr Sammar Javed is a Research Associate at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. She has worked on various funded projects for SMEs for their growth and innovation and successfully completed post doctorate in operations and change management. Before joining to Manchester Metropolitan University, Sammar successfully completed Knowledge Transfer Partnership Project of Huddersfield Business School and Deluxe Beds Ltd, with focus on process innovation utilising SCRUM. She started her career from a Pakistani think tank before joining academia in UK. She has participated in over 25 research studies, articles, book chapters and reports as well as presented widely on her topics internationally to diverse audience. She completed her PhD about Knowledge Management in Pakistani Think Tanks from University of Huddersfield, UK.
She feels it as her natural and human responsibility to transfer knowledge she possesses besides fulfilling the desire to learn. She aims to generate a knowledge legacy through her learners alongside instilling positivity and goal development. She makes her learner’s think, and trigger questioning abilities while reminding that practice takes you to improvement. She believes that strong positive culture based on Islamic values could be instilled through youth development and that requires training and dialogue beyond curriculum. Alongside working with the educational and development charities and she wishes to create a network to keep the generational change going.
